AJO – Lab Mix/ 6 Months / 10 kg / M-Neutered

Are you looking to add a gorgeous golden boy to your home? Do you have an existing dog who’d love a new doggie sibling to mentor and play with? Do you have a soft spot for the shy but secretly wacky guys? Then keep reading: Ajo might be the pup for you.

Ajo grew up in the shelter and has been known to be sweet, sociable, playful and maybe just a little mischievous. His confidence has taken a hit since arriving in Canada as he takes time adjust to his new surroundings. He is coming out of his shell slowly but surely, wagging his tail and exploring a bit, and his foster mom knows that his true goofball personality is going to come out soon. He is taking his cues from the existing dogs in the home and perks up right away when they’re around (see the video of him kissing/lovingly nibbling his foster sis for proof). While we are still getting to know him (stay tuned for updates), we do know that a dog pal in the home is an absolute necessity.

Housetraining is still a work in progress, but he already sleeps like a champ in his crate. He passed his cat test in Mexico – he was a little interested but left the cats alone. He will need a home with a secure yard.
