ANJA – Terrier Mix / 1.5 Years / 13.5kg / F-Spayed

Meet Anja 2.0! When she first arrived in Canada, we assumed she was bonded with her handsome brother Kristof. But, after decompression and assessment it was determined that their “bond” was really not. They were protective of each other, they squabbled and when foster mom started taking them on separate walks, their happiness factor increased. So, here we are, Anja 2.0!

She can be a tad bossy at times (standard terrier stuff). Her future home will be cat free, kid free, and her dog pal will need to be confident enough to say “Girl, no, just no” when she tries to set the rules of the home. She is very respectful, but may push boundaries just to see what happens. If there is no dog pal in the home, we’d want frequent playdates as she really loves other dogs and her interactions with them.

We’d love her in a home with a secure back yard, big enough for zoomies, and with the perfect sun spot to lounge in. In the home, her manners have been great. She sleeps in the crate at night, and has been accident free for over a week! She is food motivated and loves learning new tricks. She is active, so lots of walks needs to be part of her future (currently logging about 8km a day with foster mom).
