BERNA – Shepherd Mix / 1 year / 17 kg / F-Spayed

Foster mom is absolutely smitten with sweet Berna. She is the quietest and cutest work from home partner you could ask for. Foster mom says she’s so quiet that she hasn’t heard a peep out of her yet. Each morning Berna is excited to greet foster mom with full body wiggles and a couple of belly rubs. She is also completely house trained, sleeps quietly in her crate through the night and knows to sit nicely before she gets her food. Her leash work is coming along great and is highly food motivated. Berna aims to please, and just wants to make her humans happy. One of her favourite games is playing “find it” for treats in new environments, which is also helping build up her confidence. Berna can be shy when approaching new situations, so a dog pal by her side will continue to help her grow. Berna absolutely adores human company and looks to her humans for support and comfort when she is feeling uncertain in new situations.

Berna would love to be in a home somewhere in the suburbs or living the quiet life in the country. She will want a dog-pal in the house to help show her what the rest of the world has to offer. Any children in the house should be older-dog savvy kids, only because those loud kid noises can be scary sometimes. If you didn’t think she was sweet enough, she passed her cat test in Mexico (with the cutest video- check it out).
