GIORDANO – Lab Mix / 10 months / 19 kg / M-Neutered
Is your dog bugging you to play while you work from home? Or maybe your dog likes to go on adventures and see new sights? If so, Giordano may be your dog’s new best friend!
Sweet spotty boy Giordano (or Gio) has been looking for his future family for quite some time. Gio is a happy go lucky boy and foster mom is scratching her head as to why his future family hasn’t found him yet! In his foster home, Gio is a bit of a class clown, he enjoys playing with his foster siblings and running around the backyard. He hilariously tries to engage each dog in play and if they say no, he will entertain himself with a toy or stick. At the end of each day, Gio enjoys a cuddle from his people.
On walks, Gio gives great eye contact and walks sweetly beside foster mom. He knows sit and has mastered down, smart boy! He also knows how to wait for his treats and food. Gio also waits at doors for his queue to be let out. As with most busy puppies, Gio likes a bit of a challenge, so learning new things is fun for him! Gio is house trained.
For Gio’s future family we would like the following:
- Dog pal (younger than 8) that enjoys having another dog around to play with
- Kids would be fine for Gio
- People that are focused on their pet’s best life
- People that include their dogs in their activities (patios, watching sports)
- Active family (walks, hikes, camping)
- Secure yard
- One or more people home most of the time
If Gio sounds like your perfect match, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. His adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
