LOKI – Lab Mix / 5 years / 22 kg / M-Neutered
Handsome Loki is still on the lookout for his forever family! He is a special pup who loves meeting new people, going for long walks and treats (especially liver!)
Loki is very special for a few reasons. He does have epilepsy, which is well managed with meds twice a day. He currently gets his pills twice a day, around 7:30-8am and 5:30-6pm (timing is key for Loki). His meds are approximately $60 a month and his bloodwork should be rechecked every 6 months to ensure his meds are still doing their thing.
He’s also special because he is such a smart boy, eager to learn new things and has wonderful house manners! He is house trained, crate trained, and has impressive leash skills. He’s respectful when passing other people or dogs. If you are someone who regularly goes on morning or nightly walks (regardless of rain, shine or snow) Loki would be thrilled to join you! He doesn’t love car rides so local adventures that aren’t far from home are ideal. A backyard is preferred for play and chill time.
He is friendly with cats and would love a dog pal (he loves to cuddle with a canine bestie). Loki is happiest when his people are around so a family who are home often and will shower him with lots of attention and affection daily would be at the top of his wish list! His foster mom says his gratitude is real and he loves fully and unconditionally!
