LUCY – Lab/Hound Mix / 1 year / 18kg / F-Spayed / $500
Lucy is a happy, beautiful girl and is looking for a happy, beautiful family to spend furever with! She is a joy to be around and really loves life, and those in it. Don’t get us wrong – she isn’t perfect (but who is?!). One ear is perkier than the other, and something in her past has left her with half a tail. She still needs some work on her house-training, but she’s getting there!
Lucy is dog and kid-friendly and is ok with dog-savvy cats. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, so we don’t want her placed with a dominant dog, as she would likely get pushed around. She is happiest around kids (she adores them!), but we feel no wee ones, as she does like to jump up. Lucy would love a house with a secure back yard to zip around in, and while she hasn’t quite figured out toys yet, we do see her watching them so we sense a future filled with games of fetch. If you are a runner (or want to be) we sense that she’d be up for a brisk 5k. She really does like companionship, so her future home should have people home most of the time and maybe even a dog pal!
