Rafita is a sweet happy boy who loves attention. Rafita was an outdoor dog in Mexico, so he is still getting used to being welcomed inside. He is sometimes hesitant and needs a little encouragement to come back into the house. Once inside he is fine and enjoys the comforts of a home. His favourite place is sleeping by the patio door on a rug, which is sad but in time and encouragement he will learn he is part of the family. He is very respectful and well mannered. Rafita is great on a leash. He’s a quiet boy and won’t get on the couch without being invited. He’s learning routine quickly. When he wants attention, he tries to get you to pet him by moving his head into your hand or rubbing his head on your lap. He listens well, knows his name and wants to please his new humans. He’s an amazing traveling buddy, he will get in the backseat of the car, sit down nicely and look out the window. Rafita gets along well with other dogs, but would do great being the only dog as well. He would do best in a home with no small children.
