ROBERTA – Shepherd Mix / 1 Year / 16kg / F-Spayed
This little beauty is every bit as amazing as you would expect her to be. She is truly beautiful – inside and out. Foster mom says she is a dream, and she would be keeping her if she had a dog pal already. Roberta would thrive with a canine bestie in the home, so that is top of her wish list.

At home, she is happy to nap, play with her toys and puzzles. She checks in with boops every hour or so, so peeps home most of the time would be amazing for her. She is crate trained and housetrained, and we expect her to graduate from the crate in no time as her manners are A+! She is also getting good grades on “sit” and “stay”.   She is a medium energy girl that enjoys back yard romps and walks around her neighbourhood. Currently foster mom is teaching “fetch” (let’s just say, it’s a work on progress).

Worth noting – she is a distemper survivor and has a paw twitch when she is sleeping or stressed. Supplements and good nutrition will be great for her. For those in the know, being a survivor just adds to her charm.

To apply to adopt Roberta, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
