XIVA – Mini-Lab Mix / 11 months / 10kg / F-Spayed

Turns out the little girl who wears her heart on her nose, wears her heart on her whole body! Xiva (pronounced Shiva) is a sweetheart through and through.

She thrives with her people around her and you can see her confidence building day by day (minute by minute). While sometimes nervous of new people, she will take the “risk” if it means getting some more affection. With time and unconditional love, she is going to carry her head higher and higher each day.  In the foster home she is lovely: she is house-trained, good with cats and dogs, well mannered and crate trained. She is quite treat motivated, but she is also currently underweight, so we suspect food has a very high value for her at this time. Either way, treats for the win when she gets distracted on walks or doubts herself.

She does nip a bit when she is very excited, so we think no young kids for her, as we wouldn’t want there to be any misunderstandings in the home. She is great with dogs and would do great to have some regulars in her life.  Her absolute favourite thing is her people, so she is looking for a suburban type family that is home most of the time and will equally divide time between walks, playing and cuddles. She does love her toys and gets pretty excited when her peeps will toss them around for her. You can’t go wrong with Xiva!
