ZARITA – Scruffian / 11 months / 4.5kg / F-Spayed / $450

Zarita is a complete sweetheart and has settled in quickly, making herself at home on the couch. She is housetrained and with time will be excellent on leash. Right now she is a bit nervous outside – she will stand and wait for traffic, strangers, and other dogs and continually check that her human is still there.

Zarita has lots of puppy energy and curiosity so outlets and exercise are needed. She is good with both cats and kids and displays no resource guarding and no barking since she arrived. She loves toys but will end playtime immediately for snuggles. She follows like a shadow and wants nothing more than to sit on your lap but seems to do well in her crate when needed.

Zarita’s ideal home may or may not include a dog pal. She would likely be okay on her own, as long as she got lots of walks and doggy play dates! We’d definitely like to see her in a home with a fenced yard.
