Chiquis

CHIQUIS – Lab-Mix / 7 years / 22kg / F-Spayed

With one look into Chiquis’s gorgeous brown eyes, you can see a dog that is thankful to be given a second chance at life.

Chiquis is pretty, lovable, and kind. Her favourite things to do is lounge around with her people and go for walks. She likes to have her head scratched and she will lick your hand to let you know if she wants a pet. Chiquis will happily greet you when you come back home and is so excited to spend her time with you. During the day, she likes to sleep soundly (and snore), and she will sun herself in the yard.

Like we said, Chiquis does like to go on walks and foster mom is helping her shed a few pounds. Chiquis walks exceptionally well on leash and is happy to trot beside you and sniff the roses! She is very gentle and kind with other dogs and passed her cat test in Mexico. Chiquis is house trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at nighttime.

For her future home, Chiquis would like someone who is home most of the time. Someone to take her on walks and keep up her weight loss journey would be ideal. Chiquis thinks dogs are pretty cool, but she would be okay as a solo dog. Apartment life would suit her fine but a yard to sun herself in would be ideal!
