PONGO – Lab-Mix / 1.5 years / 15kg / M-Neutered

Just like the Disney dog once helped his owner find their companion, Pongo is now looking for a family to have his happily ever after.

Pongo is a friendly and outgoing dog who will try to convince anyone to give him some pets if they are willing to. Be prepared to be overloaded with cuteness, as Pongo loves fluffy toys and blankets and will carry them around with him. Not only is he affectionate, but he also has a fun personality with great energy and will be ready to follow his active family on any adventure they bring him on. Whether it’s going to a soccer game to watch his human brothers or sisters perform, going on a morning jog with his parents, or just playing a game of fetch with his family, Pongo will happily follow. Even with having great energy, Pongo will gladly sit at a café with his foster parents or go on some shopping trips and will be well-behaved.

Pongo is always ready to learn and loves to please. He is crate trained,  enjoys some downtime, and is also house-trained. He loves going on walks and his leash skills are great. Children are popular with Pongo, although sturdier kids are best. He is well-mannered with dogs and will happily share his toys.

Pongo’s future home would have an active family that is also home often to be with him. He also would need to have a secure yard. While Pongo did pass his cat test in Mexico, this young boy might be inclined to playfully chase cats. He doesn’t need a dog pal but would benefit from having one to run and play with.
