PIKIMIKI – Mini-Lab Mix / 1 Year / 16kg / F-Spayed

We can’t help but wonder if Pikimiki is part lab / part puppy based on her personality. Just like the best of labs, she is affectionate, a bit goofy, believes in nap lifestyle (after a good zoomie session) and can be food motivated. Recently Pikimiki has discovered butter and can be spotted stretching up to counter surf for more. (If that doesn’t describe lab, we don’t know what does!). Do check out her photos and her weight, because her lab comparisons don’t extend to her size.

Her foster mom describes her as medium energy. When the mood arises, she loves to zip around the yard with her canine foster siblings. She loves several good walks a day, and appreciates the opportunity to sniff and socialize along the way. She has discovered that toys are the best and she appreciates every single one with equal enthusiasm. With other dogs, she is down for a good wrestle session and can be a bit mouthy at times. She will listen when she is reminded, but for her future home, we need to be mindful of small kids in the home, and not all families are comfortable with a dog that mouths.

For her future home a playful dog pal is at the top of her list. She would love people home most of the time, and her disposition is so great that she could be a “take to work” dog. She would appreciate a fully fenced yard to keep her safe while zipping around. Cats are cool too, as she did pass her cat test in Mexico (video on her youtube playlist).

If Pikimiki appeals to you and you meet her needs, do take a look at the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
