Katie is a goofy, happy, derpy girl who is ready to find her forever home.
This charming pup is on a journey of self-discovery, gaining confidence with each passing day. From mastering house routines to zooming around the backyard with her foster sisters, Katie’s zest for life is infectious. She’s becoming a pro at leash walks and savours every adventure outdoors, whether it’s time for a walk or a play session in the backyard. Katie loves rolling around in the grass, and belly rubs are always encouraged and appreciated.
In addition to her playful antics, Katie is quickly learning manners – she can sit, is working on down, and responds to her name when called. She’s willing and eager to work for treats. When it’s time to recharge, she happily retreats to her crate, sleeping peacefully with the door open at night.
Katies future home would have an existing playful dog pal for her to play with and learn from. She needs a secure yard or solid plans for off-leash socialization. She would do best with peeps who are home most of the time, and who will be committed to helping her continue to grow her confidence to help her become the best version of herself. Katie loves kids of all ages and has passed her cat test, so a home with kids and cats os fine for her.
