Lara

LARA – Scruffian /1 year / 17kg /F-Spayed / $450

Lara is a sweetheart who absolutely loves people and she also loves to swim. One of the first things she did when she arrived in Canada was jump into the lake to test it out. Lara is playful outside and calm inside. She is the kind of pup who loves to be close to her favourite humans.
She is nervous with strangers and will need guidance from her new family to know that she is safe in her new world. While good with her own kids, we suggest not being in a home with young kids, due to the amount of friends coming and going. Lara is looking for people who are home a lot and able to give her lots of attention. She is being fostered with another dog and, while she thinks that’s okay, it seems that she would prefer to be the only dog and to have all of the human attention for herself. Lara passed her cat test in Mexico, but does seem to be a little too interested in the squirrels and chipmunks she sees outside, so may do best in a home without other pets. Lara is house trained and crate trained and she seems to love car rides (especially if they end at a lake). Her leash training is also coming along well.
