Additional Info:
Beans is all about affection! The more laps – the better!!! He loves being the apple of your eye and would benefit from being in a home with his family at home most of the time and while other dogs are ok, he’d prefer to be the only pet in the home (more attention for Beans!). Beans is not a fan of cats.
Beans is the most adorable little dog who found himself at the shelter because his owner had way too many pets. We believe he may have been living with a backyard breeder and Beans probably fathered many babies 🙁 He has a cataract and can’t see in one eye, but he can see fine from the other one. This condition is not uncommon in senior dogs. After his vet check up it was advised we leave his eye the way it is for now and this is something his adopter will have to monitor. Beans also has an irregular heart beat and will need on-going meds for the rest of his life to regulate it, however the medication is not expensive (approx. $47 per month).
He was recently neutered and his foster mom has had great success with his house-training. He can sleep all night without an accident. During the day, his “I gotta pee” dance will kick in approximately every 3-4 hours. He won’t bark or scratch to go out, so when he dances, open the door!
DIBS thinks it’s time for this tiny adorable guy to catch a break and find a family who will love him for the rest of his life. He will give you lots of kisses and cuddles in return.
