MARTIN – Terrier Mix / 8 months / 6.5 kg / M-Neutered / $500

Martin’s foster mom describes him as loving and compassionate! What more could a foster mom hope for? Well, we are glad that you asked – this guy is all round awesome! He gets along with cats, dogs and kids and he is crate trained (almost all the way there on house-training too!)

His favourite thing is humans, especially when they are doling out cuddles or belly-rubs. We would like to see him in a home with people around to lay the love on thick. He loves toys – crinkly stuffies and sticks seem to be his favourites. He has the first part of “fetch” down pat and will chase after the stick (but, once he has it, he flops down for a good chew). In his foster home he has 2 cats, and 2 bigger dogs. Initially he was reserved (likely due to being so much smaller, but once he takes it all in, he is happy to play with anyone. He is not super on a leash just yet, but as a smart guy, he has potential. He would be great with people around most of the time to be his bestie. We are sure he’d love a canine pal (hello…his real life bro Tino is also available!!) but he’d be fine as long as he had lots of consistent structured play-dates (he is too small for a dog park environment) Rumor has it, this guy loves car rides too!
