SALSA – Lab/Hound-Mix / 1 year / 9 kg / F-Spayed

Salsa is a beautiful pup, all full of spots and polka dots. She is a shy girl but when the house is quiet, she enjoys a good cuddle. She has transitioned well to the winter weather and loves spending time in the snow. In fact – outside is her favourite place to be! Hikes, walks, backyard play – Salsa is all in! She walks well on a leash and has mastered the commands sit, go to bed, and almost shake a paw.

Salsa’s manners in the house are developing really well – house training has gone extremely well: no accidents! Crate training is also on track: she has been very content spending her nights snug as a bug in her crate. She is finding this “living in a home” thing a bit confusing, and she needs time and attention to build up her confidence inside a home.

Salsa is friendly with other dogs, so much so that we think it would be wonderful for her to have a dog pal in the home. She has also been successful at sharing the home with two cats. She is hesitant of guests, so a quiet house with no children would be best suited. Her adoption fee is $550.
