FRANKY – Scruffy Lab Mix / 9 months / 11 kg / F-Spayed

This adorably scruffy girl is Franky! Franky is an absolute joy to be around, she’s affectionate and is as sweet as can be. She is a great cuddler and her foster family is really enjoying having her around – especially her her canine foster brother Paddy, who seems happy to share his bed with Franky each night and really enjoys playing with her. While initially hesitant of all things new, Franky is quickly gaining in confidence and thinks that life in a safe home, full of love, is pretty great!

Franky is very respectful in her foster home: house-trained and non-destructive. She loves a good run in the backyard and walks in the park (her leash manners are great!). We’d love to see her in a home with an active human/family, preferably with a fenced yard, so she gets lots of opportunities to stretch her long legs. She is young, so are looking for a family who has someone home most of the time. She is pretty quiet so she would be ok for apartment life too! She gets along well with both cats and dogs and all people. She hasn’t had too much exposure to kids yet, but we imagine she would do just fine with older, respectful children. We do think that younger kids would be over-whelming, so ideally we are looking for older kids only. A dog pal in her future home is preferred, but not absolutely necessary.
