SABINO – Lab Shep Mix / 2 years / 23kg / M-Neutered

Sabino is here and he loves being with his people. Now that we see him soaking in the affection, then taking a nap, his original rescue story makes sense. Earlier this year, he’d had enough of not having a family. He wandered into a store and was fed. Once his tummy was full, he laid down for a nap and was content to just stay with his new-found-friends. Lucky for him, a rescuer worked at the store and she took him into the shelter that she was affiliated with. With some vetting and some TLC, he was ready for his new life (and here he is!)

His foster family is impressed with his manners in the home. So far, no barking, lots of affection and no accidents in the house. Outside he loves the back yard, and is starting to improve his leash skills day by day (practice makes perfect, right?) He is great with dogs and cats, but really humans are his favourite thing. We’d love him to be in a home with humans home most of the time, with a steady stream of chin scratches available at any time.

He’s a bit jumpy and will knock youngsters over, so his home will have bigger/sturdier kids only.
