Pinto is one of the purest souls you’ll ever meet – and despite what his spotty markings may suggest, he is in fact a dog and not a cow. This kind fellow is doing so well during his first few days in Canada! He sleeps through the night on his dog bed, has had no accidents, sits well for treats and takes them gently, and doesn’t seem bothered by the sights and sounds of the street. More than anything, Pinto likes to be around people, but he also has an independent side – he wants to know where you are, but then is content to lie down in a soft bed. With his affectionate and joyful nature, Pinto will surely brighten your day!

Pinto loves going outside to lie in the yard, so he will need access to a secure yard in his future home. He needs a slow feeder and is working on his leash skills. He is very polite when meeting people and other dogs on his walks. Pinto is mostly people-focused, so his future family will be sure to involve him in their day-to-day life and take him for plenty of walks. So far, he ignores cats and would be fine with a cat in the home. He is super sweet but seems to have some herding tendencies, so older/dog-savvy kids if any would be best.
