CAROLA – Lab Mix / 2 Years / 23kg / F-Spayed

Carola is an affectionate, calm, eager-to-please dog who’s favourite spot in the house seems to be in the kitchen watching people cook. As a typical lab, she is not only interested in her own food but also what’s on your plate, cooking in the pan, in the refrigerator and dishwasher! (It’s likely that Carola spent some of her life having trouble finding food so she pays close attention when it’s around).

Carola walks well on a leash with just a wee bit of pulling early on the walk . She enjoys the company of her foster brothers and sister but really just likes her the humans best and really shows her love and appreciation. We think she would be ok as the only dog in the home.

Carola loves her crate and will often go in there to chill on her own. And, while this superstar doesn’t know her name yet, she seems great at recall! Carola can get a little ‘guardy’ with her leash, her crate, food and even a smelly bag of garbage; it’s quite minimal but extra training will be helpful with this behaviour. Her house training seems good, and no accidents so far! Carola’s forever home should be cat-free; she has not met any children yet but she’d likely be fine.
