WOODY – Terrier Mix / 3.5 Years / 33 kg / M-Neutered

Woody is a big bundle of love, waiting for his forever family to come along! He is a big boy with a big heart to match!

Woody is clever and picks things up quickly! He already knows sit, paw, lay down, and he seems to know hand signals for come and roll over. Woody would love future training classes, as he is eager to learn! He has already mastered the stairs, is fully housetrained, and sleeps well in his crate, although he could do without eventually.

Woody is sweet and loving – he enjoys baths, brushing, and is not shy with the vacuum or hair dryer. He also gives little nibbles of affection, making him a bit extra for small kids. Woody would really enjoy having a canine playmate in his future home or a family that has many dogs in their extended circle for regular playdates. He did not pass his cat test, so his future home will be cat free.

Woody’s enthusiasm outside is a joy to watch, but it will keep you on your toes. Wearing a halti does keep him from pulling, but he is a strong guy, and has difficulty containing his excitement on a leash, particularly when seeing wildlife or other dogs. He would benefit from a family committed to leash training. Woody also loves to watch the fence lines, looking for any squirrels that may come by! Due to his outdoor excitement, we think he would do very well with a big backyard, or even country living.
