Abel

Abel is a lot of love in a small, sweet and scruffy package! Despite being dumped at the shelter with his pal Aldo, Abel is ready to bring you all the affection you want (and wants it given right back to him!)

Abel is a sweet and fun boy who does well on the leash and loves to stop and smell the roses. He likes other dogs and is polite when he meets them. He seems to be housetrained so far, and we think Abel may have been in a home before he was abandoned. He’s an obedient and smart pup and is keen to explore his surroundings. He’s calm in the house and loves to sleep his crate.

Abel is kind and noble, is very affectionate and loves to be around people. Abel is quiet and calm in the house, and would be fine in an apartment or condo as long as he gets a few good walks every day and has some room to play indoors. He’s learning all about toys and balls — gee, are they ever great!

Abel doesn’t need a dog pal in the home, but he could definitely live with one! Abel isn’t a fan of kitties, though, so cat-free homes only for this fella. He’s still learning how to mouth gently, so we recommend older and dog-experienced children only.
