ABIGAIL – Lab Mix / 3 years / 9.4 kg / F-Spayed

Abigail is the sweetest girl in town who loves to spend time with humans. Who doesn’t dream of a mini lab? She is basically your little shadow, who will always try to be close. She will put her paw on your leg and her head on your shoulder.

She loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. She seems housetrained and has manners inside the home. Abigail is quite a reserved girl who needs time to warm up to people and to the situation she is in. When she feels safe, she is the most gentle, loyal, loving partner. She is up for everything, cuddles watching TV, hiking, long walks in the park. If she is with you, she is happy!

Abigail walks well on the leash but would need much more exposure to the outside world to feel secure. She can be easily scared by passing people, dogs, or cars but positive reinforcement would really help her become a confident dog in her new Canadian life. Abigail is also very smart and wants nothing but to please you!

Having a confident dog pal in the home would help her but is not an obligation for the right match. She would really appreciate having a yard where she can sunbathe (her favorite activity). Abigail is quite a shy girl and would benefit having someone with her most of the time to help her grow her confidence.
