ALDO – Terrier Mix / 3 Years 4 Months / 7.9 kg / M – Neutered

Cutie Aldo is an adorable terrier – inside and out! He was dumped outside the shelter with his buddy Abel and after some much needed TLC, they were sent on their way to find their forever family.

Aldo is 18 pounds of pure pizzazz and he loves to get out and explore! He is a great walker, and can keep up with just about anyone. Despite his small stature, he is confident in new situations and is taking in the sights and sounds of city life in stride. Aldo is calm in the house and sleeps well in his crate (although he’d rather be exploring!). He has a lot of love to give to his humans, and enjoys playing with toys and sniffing around!

Aldo seems indifferent to dogs overall and would probably prefer to be the only one in the house. There is a lot still to learn about him, but so far, we believe he would be suitable for apartment living: he is quiet indoors, confident outdoors, and has good leash manners.

Ideally Aldo’s future peeps will be home a lot to hang out and take him on lots of walks. Someone familiar with terriers would be best! He cares a little too much for squirrels (no cats for this guy either!) so his handlers will help him work on his focus. He has not been kid-tested but we suspect older, dog-savvy kids only for him.
