Yes… Angel is indeed an ‘Angel’.

Angel is a little shy at first, but quickly lets her heart get the better of her and you’ll find her licking you in no time. She is super gentle and sweet tempered. Her loving nature comes across right away and she is quick to give you a kiss and roll over for a pet. She loves treats (esp. chicken) and loves figuring out the toys that dispense them.

Angel is great in the house, as she is house trained and has only barked once to let a cat know she saw her hiding! She is a smart girl, who is quick to learn and always eager to please. Angel’s playful side is starting to come out, from wanting to play a chasing game with you (not toys!), and just running around the yard at top speed from time to time. She might even love agility training one day! Angel also loves to chill, either with you on the couch, or her favourite spot – napping in her bed. She likes having that special spot that is all her own! She is super happy when she is leash-free in her fenced yard and we’d love to see her go to a home that offers her this pleasure. She is great on a leash but prefers short walks or runs for now. She likes to be close to home as she is still learning and figuring out her new neighbourhood. With her short coat, she can get a little shivery, so a winter jacket or sweater would make her very happy for this Canadian winter weather.

Angel is also a little shy in the dog park, but prefers meeting pups one on one. She has made 2 new dog friends, a Border collie and a Bernese mountain dog after several playdates. She has a curiosity about cats but isn’t quite sure what she should do with them just yet. I think Angel would love another pet in the house to help build her confidence, or some playdates with nearby friends.

Amazing Fact: This sweet momma raised her own 7 pups and 2 foster pups when she was rescued in Mexico.

Angel is excited and eager to meet her new ‘super-sweet’ and somewhat ’active’ family. She would prefer older children as she likes to play a little, but also likes her own space too.
