ANTON – Retriever Mix / 2 Years / 23kg / M-Neutered
Aside from looking good all the time, Anton’s primary mission in life is simple – to bring joy and happiness to his favourite humans. He lives to please and just wants to be the best guy for his people.
Anton is a social butterfly and will happily greet and accept pets from anyone willing to give them to him, especially ear scratches. He loves to romp around the house with his favourite toy or have a wrestling match with his canine foster siblings. He loves to explore and gets very excited for his walks. Anton does still like to pull on his leash but is coming along with his skills. Since he is food motivated, his skills are coming along quickly, and he is always eager to learn. When he knows its breakfast or dinner time, he will run and bounce to his crate knowing its food time.
When Anton isn’t playing or romping around, he is happy to lay near you with a bone and just relax. He has aced his housetraining and sleeps happily in his crate through the night. He thrives with structure and routine so his future peeps will keep up with boundaries in the house. Anton gets along great with other dogs and loves to play; he just needs to know that the pup is cool first, so proper intros with other dogs will be important for him. He is respectful in the house, hardly barks, and bonus points: he loves car rides!
Anton’s future home will have his peeps around a lot and would make a great work from home BFF. He would love to have a home with a fenced yard to romp in and to have some play dates with other dogs. Any kiddos in the house should be older/dog savvy kids, as he still likes to jump up to say hello. Anton did not pass his cat test in Mexico, so no feline friends for him!
