So do you want the good news or the bad news first? Let’s start with the good…
The good news: Bernie is a typical yellow lab – loveable and lazy. He likes short walks, lots of cuddles and playing with his toys on his bed. He’d love to be the only dog in your life, and would like a family where cuddle time is important. He would be the ideal dog for people who want to chill with their adult pup. He is also housebroken (bonus!). Due to his laid back nature, we don’t recommend a home with children under 10 years of age.
The bad news: Bernie had a tough start in life. He was rescued in very poor health in April 2016. He was taken to a shelter where he had a vet available to him 24/7 (as well as a LOT of TLC) He is perfectly healthy now (even a bit pudgy – yeah!!!!), but in the past he dealt with starvation, mange, funky nails.
Bernie is completely housebroken and is a sweet dog who loves people. He likes long walks and will lie on his bed or in his crate when he feels the need to chill.
