Birdie

BIRDIE – Aussie/Border Collie / 4 Months / 10.3kg / F-Intact

Birdie is not a DIBS dog but we are cross posting for her current owner.

Birdie is a 18 week old puppy that acts just like a puppy would. Add the breed into the mix and she is a bit of extra bundled into cute.

She needs someone with breed experience to be able to raise her to be the best girl. Right now, she is into everything and her foster mom is clocking about 15-20k steps a day to help burn off some energy for both Birdie and her sister. She is good with dogs, untested with cats, and we assume she’d be fine for dog-savvy kids.

Training will be mandatory for her, to help get her on the right path, and to stimulate her beautiful brain. Her future family should be home most of the day, for her regular pee breaks and mental and physical exercises. She is not one to leave unsupervised just yet. (Puppy….you know?!)

Spay will be mandatory and written into her adoption contract. Due to her age, we have opted to not spay her at this time.
