BLUSH – Small Lab-Pointer Mix / 1 year / 9 kg / F-Spayed / $500

Sweet shy Blush has arrived and she is doing so well in her foster home! So many things are new to her and she is working on conquering her fears. She is a bit nervous on walks, and her foster parents work with her to work through things that may concern her. One by one, she is overcoming obstacles – sometimes literally even jumping on things she sees in her walks. In home, she is incredibly polite: she appears to be house-trained, she is crate trained (overnight, but she is so good, that the goal is to get her crate free in time). She sits when you ask her to, she listens, she even lets her people go through the doors first. At work, she is great (yes, she is a “take to work” dog with her foster family) and gets along with the other dog, and is polite to strangers.

As she is submissive, we want her in a home with an existing dog pal: she looks to her canine foster sis for guidance and we want that support system in place for her. She is good with cats too. We have no concerns with her and kids, but we may prefer a home with older kids, just due to the activity level in the home with a young busy family.
