Boa

BOA – Mexi-Mix / 10 months / 10 kg / F-Spayed / $550

Boa the beautiful! She gets so much attention because of her good looks, but she is just as sweet on the inside! Her 3 siblings have found their forever families (Peanut, Kenza and Chia) and we know that Boa’s family is out there waiting for her. The four pups were found as young babies in Cancun, with no mom in sight. They were taken into rescue, vetted and given lots of TLC. The pups do not have a pearly white smile, which is something you would expect of a litter where the mom has distemper. This explains why they were found as orphans, as mom likely didn’t make it. If you look closely, you will see that Boa has a bit of a tic as well – just a slight movement of tummy muscles. It’s nothing to worry about and the vet deemed her in great shape and prescribed lots of walks (to balance her healthy appetite).

She is amazing with both cats and dogs, but really it’s the humans that she loves the most! She will be happiest with a family that is home all the time so she can just happily assist her people with whatever they are doing. (She has proven amazing at watching household chores and listening to audio books). We suspect that she will be wonderful with kids, as she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, and just loves attention. She is having a great time with toys too: she is happy to select a new one every 5 minutes or so, and plays happily (and gently) with it. She doesn’t have any interest in playing with other dogs, but coexists beautifully.

At night she has slept in a crate, but really isn’t a fan. She is doing so well with her house-training, that we think she will be out of the crate in no time. She is not at all destructive and can be fully trusted with your shoes.
