CASCATTA – Shepherd mix / 3 years / 23kg / F-Spayed

Cascatta is here and her foster mom says she is a lovebug! She can be independent as needed, but really – she’d rather be hanging with her people. She approaches for affection and loves to give hugs and kisses. And, if you aren’t doing it right, she has no problem giving you a wee paw nudge to remind you “more pets please!” She does love her walks and hikes, so an active family would be great for her. She does pull a bit on leash, and her foster mom is working on finessing her manners. She also jumps up on adults for affection, so we do worry about young kids in the home, as she will outweigh them.

So far, in the home, her manners have been great. No accidents to date, and her foster mom is consistent with breaks. Overnight, she naps on her dog bed without issue. She is great with humans and dogs. No cats for this beauty though! We would love her to be in a home with a secure back yard, for additional exercise time.
