CHONA – Mexi-Mix / 2.5 years / 15kg / F-Spayed

“She’s lovely to be around, always gentle, respectful and in a good mood” are just a few things that Chona’s foster mom had to say about her. It seems like everyone who meets Chona, absolutely adores her and we are looking for someone to fully appreciate her! She is the type to give you sweet little kisses, as if she knows you’re having a bad day. She is a dream dog who loves to play and, loves to love you!

Chona has excellent house manners, is housebroken, and loves to please. She is a quick learner, making training sessions a fun experience for Chona and foster mom. She sits politely and will wait patiently to have her paws cleaned. She walks well on leash but does get excited by the odd squirrel that passes by (c’mon, which dogs don’t?) She does like to stop now and then to have a good sniff but when you are ready to go she’s right by your side with a ‘come’ command.

Chona envisions a home with a secure yard in a quiet suburban setting, she’s no city girl! She is best suited to a cat-free environment and prefers the company of people who are home most of the time. She is absolutely lovely with other dogs so we’d love to hear your ideas for canine play dates. She loves going on car rides and looking out the window. Chona is a very happy girl who is ready for any kind of adventure, so we are looking for a new family who is the same. She would even enjoy someone who wants to do agility with her as she loves to run and jump!
