CHURRUMINA – Mexi Mix / 2.5 years / 18 kg / F-Spayed

Churrumina is like a vacation in dog form: always happy to be with her favourite people, eager to have fun, and most of all, loves to chill.

When asked about her favourite thing about Churrumina, foster mom said ‘how excited she gets to see her humans… it is so endearing’. Churrumina loves her people and is quick on warming up to new people. Churrumina is known for her cute zoomies that include rolling on her back and then playing with her toys. She is able to entertain herself with a toy or two quite well. Churrumina loves her canine foster siblings and is very tolerant of their different play styles.

Churrumina walks very well on leash. She loves her walk time and will show it by giving a joyful bounce/prance. Regular walks during the day would be ideal for this girl as she loves to see the world! She is crate trained and house trained. She is working on not jumping on her humans when they come home but she is just so excited to see them!

For Churrumina’s future home, she would love people who are home often to hang out with her. She would make a great second dog but if you’re dog free, she would love frequent play dates and lots of dog friends (but no dog parks for her). Churrumina’s future home will be cat free. She would also love a yard to sun tan in. But if no yard, we’d love to hear your ideas for exercise and enrichment! Churrumina would be okay with kids but do know that she can jump up on people when excited, so this is something her future family should be conscious of.

If Churrumina sounds like your heart dog, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
