CRUZ – Collie-Lab Mix / 1.5 Years / 14kg / M-Neutered

Swoooon, Cruz is in the house! This spotty boy was a PAR shelter favourite, and we are starting to see why.

Aside from being really, really handsome, Cruz is also showing off how polite of a house-guest he is. He is acing his house-training, sleeps soundly in his crate after settling down for the night, coexists well with the resident dog, non-destructive… We could go on and on. He is just the best!

Not only is Cruz great inside, he is also a pro on the leash. He makes eye contact and walks right beside you on walks. He is getting used to the noises of traffic, but with continued focus on confidence on walks, Cruz is sure to succeed.

Cruz’s ideal future home would have a secure yard or access to a fenced area for him to romp around in. He is fantastic with other dogs, and would be great in a home with existing dogs. We would love to see Cruz in a home where people are home most of the time. He has met kids on walks and has greeted them with sniffs and a polite tail wag. Cruz is still a youngster, so his future family will provide him with the structured routine, enrichment, and training he needs to further improve his manners and skills as he grows up. Cruz passed his cat test in Mexico!
