DAKOTA – Lab cross / 18 months / 19kg / F – spayed/ $450

Dakota is a happy, friendly and very affectionate girl. She was rescued along with her 10 puppies (they have all been adopted) and she was a wonderful mom. In foster Dakota is living with 4 other dogs and she’s had no trouble at all fitting in. She also gets along with cats. This sweetheart met a lot of new people over the holiday season,including visiting kids (ages 3+) and she was kind and gentle and handled all of the new experiences beautifully. She is housetrained, smart, and she aims to please, though she does do a little counter surfing (so many yummy things up there!).

Dakota’s been loving life in Canada so far. She doesn’t mind the cold and has been enjoying lots of exercise. She loves to go for at least 2 good walks a day and really enjoys being able to romp and play off leash. Dakota needs a house with a yard and active humans who will enjoy spending lots of time walking and playing with her. She’s also looking for people who are home a lot of the time as she likes to stick close by.
