DUNCAN – Mexi-Mix / 1 year  / 10 kg / M-Neutered

Do note, Duncan will require a full time dog pal in the home. We have received many lovely inquiries about him, but we will focus on applicants that do have an existing dog in the home for him.

Duncan is a resilient and charming pup who has overcome remarkable challenges! When first rescued, Duncan was timid, withdrawn, and seemed lost in his own world. However, with the help of a dedicated foster family in Mexico, he has learned to trust again, revealing his true potential.

Duncan thrives in an environment where he can make choices, which helps him grow. He’s a smart and playful dog who loves his bone and ball. Plus, he’s always ready to give you gentle kisses in exchange for a good belly rub. When he’s not playing, Duncan has a calm energy and enjoys relaxing. He’s well-trained in behaving indoors and using his crate. In fact, he absolutely loves his cozy crate, where he can have some alone time with the door open or sleep peacefully in the bedroom. Duncan looks for guidance from his fellow canines, so a confident, playful dog-pal in his future home is a must.

Additionally, a securely fenced yard is essential, allowing him to explore and navigate his surroundings at his own comfortable pace. Having grown up alongside cats, Duncan considers them his playmates. However, he would benefit from a dog-savvy cat who understands his enthusiastic nature. He’d also love to have his forever family to be home more often than not.
