DUNCAN – Terrier Mix / 1 year / 12 kg / M-Neutered

Do note, Duncan will require a full time dog pal in the home. We have received many lovely inquiries about him, but we will focus on applicants that do have an existing dog in the home for him.

Wee Duncan is ready to find his forever home and he will make someone so happy! For Duncan’s future home, it is important that he is paired with a dog pal that is just as playful as he is. His personality shines when he is near other dogs that want to engage with him (particularly mini schnauzers). He can be quite shy when engaging with new people but all it takes is a few scratches behind the ears and he will be your BFF. Duncan also enjoys playing with toys and loves to spend the day chewing on his bone. When he greets you every morning he gets SO excited to see you and will give you a happy dance!

Duncan walks very well on leash. He will even sit at the door waiting for his leash to be put on when he knows it’s time for a walk. He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to be let out. Duncan is very smart and picks up basic commands very quickly. He adores his crate and will happily sleep in it at night and can often be found retreating to the crate for a nap during the day.

For Duncan’s future home he must have a playful, young dog pal, peeps who are home most of the time, and a secure yard to get his zoomies out! Duncan is a medium energy boy and loves to go out for approximately two walks a day, so someone with a consistent walking schedule would be great! Duncan is great with cats but sees them as playmates so dog savvy cats are key for him.
