EVA – Lab-Husky mix / 4 months / 10.1 kg / F-Spayed

Eva is here and showing her foster family how smart she is; she already knows sit, down, stay, paw & high five! She is a friendly girl who loves her fosters and follows them around the house (both human and canine foster crew). She has puppy energy and we’d love her future home to include a canine playmate as a good game of chase is the best! As a mexi-mutt, we don’t expect she will be the size of a Canadian husky, but her beautiful face and her voice are reminiscent of the breed.

She is a pro at training and this will be an ongoing focus – more so due to her age: puppies need training and consistency. She is working on her house-training, and her crate training skills are excellent. For her activities, she loves being outdoors and going for walks, sniffing all the smells and expressing her enthusiasm (verbally and physically). She is jumpy, so she will not be placed in a home with young kids – over 12 years only.

We look forward to matching her with a family that meets her needs. Eva’s dream home would consist of her people being home most of the time, a secured yard, dedicated to training, and a confident canine dog pal to help burn off that energy. Eva would love living in a suburban area as the traffic and busy streets can be stressful! She passed her cat test in Mexico, though hasn’t been tested since she arrived in Canada.

If Eva sounds like a perfect match for your family, visit www.dibsrescue.com for the adoption process and application. Her adoption fee is $870. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
