FORASTERA – Low-Rider Mix / 3 years / 10kg / F-Spayed

Lovely Forastera is the only pup from her litter that made it out alive, and we are on the hunt for her new forever family. We have made her the promise that she will never be alone again! During her time at the shelter she was besties with Tamarindo, and in her foster home she really enjoys the company of the in-house dogs. For her future home it would be great if she had a dog in the home, but if not regular playdates need to be on the agenda.

This little ray of sunshine is perfect from her freckled nose to her wagging tail (and all the parts in between). Initially she was shy but she is settling in with more confidence, whether at home or taking in new adventures. She is great on a leash and will walk by everyone with a wagging tail. She is comfortable around little kids but can be mouthy at times.

In the home she is lovely: mostly housetrained, sleeps in her crate overnight, non-destructive, and just the best roomie to have around. Due to her love of treats training has been a breeze. She passed her cat test in Mexico and she does really love the company of dogs – almost as much as she loves being with her humans.

Her ideal home is a house in the suburbs away from big city life, with a yard to explore and play in. She would love to have people home most of the time to keep her company and take her on adventures. Our big impossible dream would be for her to be reunited with Tamarindo and them to be adopted together (one can dream, right?)

If you think Forastera could be the dog for your family please apply at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. We fully expect any kids to be dog savvy and for parents to be realistic on interactions between kids and dogs. Please do read, prior to applying: https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/
