GIA – Labrador Mix / 5.5 years / 22kg / F-Spayed

Meet lovely lady Gia. She’s a real softie with so much love to give. Gia is a sun-worshipper and loves nothing more than taking a long nap in a bright strip of sunlight – but so far, she seems to have no problem with our Canadian winters! Gia’s foster says she has a “PhD in chilling out”!

She has been passed over a bit with our adopters: maybe because she’s a bit chunky, a bit older, or missing some teeth. However, Gia is a very special dog, and we are looking for an amazing family that wants her! From time to time, we get emails from people that ask about another dog, then say they will settle for Gia. Nope, not going to happen! Gia is amazing and she deserves the very best home! Her foster mom says she has all the time in the world for Gia to stay as she is so easy and wonderful to be around.

Gia does want a calm, zen life. She loves cats, dogs, people, you name it. However, we’d like to ensure her future home doesn’t have young kids, as they do tend to be loud. (Nothing wrong with young kids, just not the life we see for Gia)

Gia has a lot of love to share, ideally she’d like to live with someone who can be home with her most of the time. Her new home should have a secure green space for her to explore and bask.
