Gustavo – Hound-Mix / 10 months / 16kg / M-Neutered

Gus, otherwise affectionately referred to as “Gus-Gus” or “Gussy” is the perfect pup – it’s hard not to smile when you see his long legs and floppy ears coming your way! Despite a rough start in life, Gus is a well mannered boy with the biggest heart!

Gus loves the outdoors and is always ready for an adventure. He is a great walking buddy and can play for days! While he loves playing with his foster sister Arya, he also enjoys ALL toys, and frequently has his head in the toy bin! Gus is house-trained, knows how to sit and escorts himself to his bed for a nap. He sleeps soundly in his crate and will likely be able to retire it eventually. He is very affectionate and loves spending time with foster mom.

Gussy’s perfect home would be an active one with a resident dog to play with, and people that are home often. We suspect he would make a great family dog, however he is still learning to keep all four paws on the ground. He is very gentle otherwise, and likes to be a part of the pack. Since he is still a puppy, on-going training will be required to set Gus up for success! He also did pass his cat test, and tends to ignore felines.
