HIKARI – Retriever Mix / 1 Year / Weight TBD / F-Spayed

As it’s International Black Dog Day, we wanted to share this incoming dog with you all! We have more to learn and are eagerly awaiting her videos – both with dogs and with cats – so we can see her in her full splendor!

You may have seen videos where dogs are dumped (often in tied up sacks) outside the shelter. Our beauty Hikari was one of those pups. Along with her littermates, they were dumped in December of 2023, with the hopes that the rescue group would find them in time. Luckily, they did and now we are given the opportunity to show her what unconditional love is all about.

So far we know that she is lovely. She is happy to greet her humans but may jump up in excitement. She loves the company of other dogs and would likely be happiest with a dog pal in the home. We will update all of her info, including cat testing, once her videos are uploaded to youtube.
