Dear Santa,

My name is Iggy, and I’m writing to you from my foster home (they’re nice, but I’m ready for a place to call my own). I’m a 5-year-old Lab-Hound mix weighing in at 20kg, and my Christmas wish is simple: a forever family where I can finally feel at home.

I’ve been told I’m the perfect package: polite, well-mannered, and super chill indoors. I love cozy naps and quiet vibes.

But, Santa, here’s the thing—I’m a little on the shy side when meeting new humans. It takes me a bit of time to figure out if someone’s a “friend or foe” (spoiler alert: most are friends). Once I trust you, I’m the most loyal and loving sidekick you could ask for!

Life hasn’t always been easy. I had a family once, and I loved them so much, but their circumstances changed, and they couldn’t keep me. So now, I’m on the hunt for my forever family—one that will be with me through thick and thin.

Here’s what I dream about in my new home:
A confident doggy sibling to show me the ropes and be my buddy.
A calm, chill environment far away from the hustle and bustle of big city life (country roads, take me home! suburbs? super!).
Cat roommates? Totally cool with me!
Humans who will take me to social classes so I can practice my bravery and hear lots of “Who’s a good boy?”

I promise to be a very good boy, Santa. I just need a family who’s ready to help me shine.
