JEANINE – Basenji-Mix / 1.5 years / 13kg / F-Spayed

Jeanine is a happy girl on the lookout for a forever home. She loves being around people and is always close by for pets and cuddles. With occasional bursts of energy, she enjoys running around the yard, letting out her zoomies. Though a bit shy with new people at first, Jeanine is learning that they’re not a threat. Jeanine’s confidence is slowly growing every day, we think she’ll get there on her time, so a patient and loving future home will be needed for her.

Having a set routine is important for Jeanine, making a stable environment crucial for her. She’s got ‘sit’ down pat and is working on more commands with treats as motivation. Jeanine walks well on a leash and feels most at ease when surrounded by people and other dogs. Jeanine would prefer a calm and quiet hood, out in the suburbs or countryside, to live in which will help make her feel safe.

Jeanine gets along well with dogs her size or bigger, so a home with another dog is a must. On the flip side, she’s not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is necessary. An active family that enjoys walks, hikes, and playtime with toys will make her day. She thrives on attention and would do best with people around, making her a good fit for a home with older kids. She’s not just seeking a home; she’s looking for a warm and loving family to be a part of.
