KAMALA – Terrier-Chi Mix / 8 months / 5.4 kg / F-Spayed

Ok followers…hurry up and apply for lovely Kamala! Her foster family is quickly becoming smitten with this beauty. While they love her, they know they may not be her ideal home, as the existing dogs are older and serious, and Kamala loves to have a good time with younger canine playmates. Kamala is a true socialite and her playful puppy spirit is shining brighter than ever!

In her spare time, you can catch Kamala doing her own version of “zoomies” in the yard, happily frolicking with her favorite toys. And when it comes to playing fetch, she’s got some real skills! You throw, she fetches – it’s a game she’s got down pat. Speaking of skills, Kamala is housetrained and has already picked up on commands like ‘sit’ ‘stay’ ‘wait’ and ‘come’.

Now, let’s talk about the crate situation. Kamala has made it clear that she’s not a fan. Instead, she prefers to snooze peacefully on her comfy dog bed. However, during the day she does OK in the crate! When it comes to people, Kamala is a superstar! She’s a magnet for affection, and everyone she meets falls in love with her charming personality. Also this clever pup is housetrained.

Kamala’s future home must have a young, energetic canine companion to share playtime and help her burn off her puppy exuberance. An active family who enjoys hikes, walks, and exciting adventures would be a great match for her. A fully fenced yard is a must, allowing her to safely explore and play outdoors. Additionally, a home where her human family is present most of the time would ensure Kamala’s happiness and well-being. Kamala also does great with cats, so a home with cats is A-OK for her!

If you think Kamala could be the pup for you, please check out www.dibsrescue.com for the adoption process and application. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
