KEVIN – Beagle / 1 year / 13 kg / M-Neutered

We are receiving a lot of great applications for Kevin, but we will only be considering those with an existing dog in the home. Thank you for understanding!

Kevin is a sweet and affectionate pup that loves to be with his people and canine friends. His playful nature is undeniable as his favourite past time is playing with his dog pals and fetch!

With his foster family, Kevin is getting great exposure to cottaging, hiking trails, and social life. With this exposure, and the guidance of his canine foster brothers, Kevin is learning that the world is full of adventure and wonder. He continues to grow in confidence, realizing that new things aren’t as scary as they once seemed. Kevin could not be happier to find out what his new life has in store for him.

Kevin is impressively smart, picking up on new commands quickly and taking direction easily. Kevin has even been able to lead his foster dad back to the cottage after a few short days- way to navigate Kevin! In the home, Kevin is house-trained and calm. He enjoys napping and can easily chill-out after he gets his walk or play time. Currently, Kevin is working on crate training and leash skills, as well as confidence in himself in new situations. Kevin picks up on his people’s cues and would benefit greatly from a strong leader that can provide him with the guidance he needs.  A well balanced dog pal will do wonders for this little guy.

For his new home, Kevin is looking for a family that understands his need for daily exercise and routine walks. Kevin will require a fenced backyard where he can sniff, explore, and run around. A confident dog pal that will show him the ropes and be his play buddy is Kevin’s #1 item on his wish list. Cats are also no issue for Kevin as he has lived with cats previously. Kevin would feel most comfortable in a home with older children that are 14+. He will require a family that provides structure and commitment to his continued training so that he can become his best, most confident self.

Kevin is so very deserving of a new start, full of adventure and fun. In return, you will be his whole world and his whole heart.
