KIKI – Mexi-Hound Mix / 2.5 years / 17 kg / F-Spayed

Fun new things we have learned about Kiki (and wanted to share!)

– She adores people. Like, really, really loves them. She seems to like kids, so we think older kids would be fine for her.
– Squirrel crazy! She is smart and has great recall, but dangit, it’s hard to listen when a squirrel sashays by! (Cat free families for this reason)
– So smart (Ok, we already knew that, but we continue to be blown away by her ability to learn new things)
– Cuddly! When it’s time to chill, the lapdog in her just melts into your lap.
– Noise sensitive. She is not a fan of loud trucks, construction noises, etc. We get it Kik: a hike is preferable to city noises for you!
– Playful. She does love to play with her foster brothers, and she tries to alter her play style to match them. (She doesn’t always succeed, and her awkward teenager shines though).
– Relatively quite, except for her wee howl once she does her first pee of the morning.
– She thrives with direction and guidance. On her own, she may not make all the best decisions, so appreciates a clear set up rules that she can reference.

Her foster mom says she is incredible, and they enjoy watching her blossom. We can’t wait for her to find her people to continue her journey with her!
