LOLA – Yorkie / 2.5 years / 8lbs / F-Spayed
Lola would like the world to know, she is not your typical Yorkie! Lola is an adorable, loving, and playful little girl. She may be tiny, but she wants to be treated like the big dogs! She is not destined to sit on laps or sleep all day – no pocket dog tendencies for Lola!
Since going into foster care, Lola has truly blossomed into a fine young lady. She is working on her leash manners and is responding very well to guidance and training. Housetraining is coming along nicely despite a few hiccups, but we suspect she will be a pro. Lola is great with other dogs and can be shy with new people, but with proper introductions, she does well.
She enjoys playing with her toys and running around in the yard. She is impressing foster mom with her backyard zoomies.
Lola’s future family must be committed to her future success. She requires daily physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy, calm, and healthy. She is asking for peeps home most of the time and a secure yard would be a bonus but we suspect Lola would fit into apartment life so long as she had lots of walks. We think Lola would be fine as a solo dog but can exist with other dogs happily.
If you think you are the right fit for Lola, check out our adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $1000.
