LORENA – Mini-Lab Mix / 8 Months / 16kg / F-Spayed

Lady Lorena has quickly stolen the hearts of her foster family (lets be real – she steals the heart of everyone she has met). She is a fun dog to have around and seamlessly fits into any situation she is in.
– Going on a walk? Fine with her!
– Chilling at home? She’ll nap away.
– Hanging out in the park? She loves to people watch!
Her #1 personality trait is that she is incredibly sweet and just loves to be near her people: she is happy to cuddle and wag that tail all day long!

Lorena is acing her house skills. So far she is house trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night. (At the moment, she doesn’t gravitate towards her crate during the day but once inside, she goes right to sleep without a peep). She is quite food motivated so it won’t take long for her to learn new things. Lorena is learning to walk on leash which is a new concept for her (this is where those “quick learning” skills come into play). Lorena passed her cat test (quite adorably) in Mexico. Check her youtube playlist for video proof!

For her future home she would love to go to someone who will include her on her daily adventures. She likes to explore and is quite curious so if you’re someone who truly integrates your dog into your life, Lorena is your girl! She would do well with someone who works from home but can chill in her crate so long as she has been properly exercised. Lorena would be fine as a solo dog but she does love other dogs so we’d love to hear about your plans for dog socialization and interaction – the more friends for her the merrier!

If you think Lorena could be the pal for you and your family, please check out www.dibsrescue.com for the adoption process and application. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
